Who we are
Shot from Within is the photography project of Jasper Cox — a visual storyteller with a deep love for light, timing, and feeling. As a rising photographer, Jasper brings both fresh eyes and a curious mind to every shoot. He’s not just passionate — he’s constantly learning, refining, and discovering what it truly means to see. He works with a Fujifilm X-T50 and a 35mm f/1.4 lens. But what really shapes his photos isn’t gear — it’s instinct. His images are built on composition, emotion, and the quiet understanding that beauty often hides in the unnoticed. As a child, Jasper once learned from his geography teacher: “To prevent a flood, don’t fight the water — work with it.” That line stayed with him. Now, he does the same with light. He doesn’t force the moment. He doesn’t fight the shadows. He works with what’s there — patiently, attentively. Every frame is a collaboration between the city, the subject, and his eye. More than a moment — that’s Shot from Within.
